Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?

It's been a while working in this IT firm. The work here is hectic and have a growth of career only on your respective field. Don't expect any huge salary packages as they won't offer. Job security will be okay as long as you complete the work assigned to you on time.

Dislikes

The salary of respective fields is very underpay compare to other industries in the market. If you still work hard & dedicate 10-11 hours of time of your day. Management just hire you as permanent employee but wouldn't consider to revise the salary.
