There is nothing to like in the Company. Worst startup ever.

Requesting everyone who is reading this if its time then please don't join the company and if already working then please always keep a backup option and if possible leave the company as soon as possible.. Because in terms of skill development you will only learn how to manage f**ked up mental health... Sharing some basic poimts... Great team.. which includes management, appraisals, skill development. Only Fistful of people are protected and favoured else everyone is treated as slave which they can exploit as much as they can. Worst part is your manager is like a pet dog to CEO who will do anything for the CEOs.( can't even imagine persons having 8-10 years of industry experience who can easily find job are licking CEOs ***. Neither they grow nor they let there team members grow). Not a single expert in the company for the Technology used.(ROR abd React). Employees here don't even think about Appraisals as they are always worried about there basic monthly salary. Company can even reduce the base(fixed component) of the salary without informing. They will fire people specially on the last days of the months just before salary day..so that they don't have to give salary for that month... Your slary will be reduced based on the performance which includes timely work submission...but this is only for basic employees not for HR team(worst ever HR TEAM) as they can never ever complete there slary process on time... The minimum they will give salary on 3-4th of month(stated in contract that worst case would be the first week of the month) which is the best case scenario as i never got salary before 5th of the month in past couple of years of experience.... This company should be banned not only from IITS, Niits but from all.the engineering colleges as they play with the career of freshers... They will.hire with false CTC dreams in campus placements and will fire them within probation period(3months) without prior notice. Not like.one or two they fires whole batch of 50-60 (talking about tech only) which is like 20% of the strength. Company started with a dream of capturing logistic market with tech but its now just a hobby for the CEOs to earn some free money for which they can use anyone and Anytime they like because they got there pet managers.......Read More

- Terrible Work Culture - Strategy Meetings are full of gossips or slandering of an employee - COO thinks being a colleague of OLA founder makes him smart. He is living in his own dream land. - No respect for any employee; firing is so prevalent that every two month you will feel like sitting in a new company altogether. - Their tech is as similar to their fathers; no one knows what is built on platform and why. Forget about any documentation of platform; tech debt is too high. - At the end of the month; every team is sitting in the office till mid night to bring up the numbers on platform. Yes, calling themselves a "global platform", the invoice is created through manual entry in a form like platform design. - Salary reduction by 15-20% of the mentioned compensation. No appraisal, revised CTC letter comes with reduced salary. - No full and final settlements of the past employees; they have trimmed around 800 people in last one year. - CEO himself gives rating by seeing names of an employee; if the reporting manager asks for increment for his/her sub-ordinate; it is adjusted from the manager's compensation. What I most liked and loved about Cogoport was leaving COGOPORT.

Salary never on time , there is no notice period they will kick you out whenever they feel , they can say company dnt have many to pay so you have to leave, company is facing issue targets not matched , the service they give to client is worst the client never returns you can ask their clients itself they have bad reputation in market . You will never get the role they hired you for, also some people where newly hired by them and within 2 months they made them leave by saying you didn't match our expectations their CEO Amitabh shankar is ont worst with bad mouth he dnt care whether employees are happy or not...Read More

You will get to learn more as there is nobody to guide you and if you stick to learning you will get expert in just six months.

No work life balance No proper management and planning of project, departments so the company is in loss as I must say. Otherwise they have excellent software and platform and they can master in industry.

Can Service companies give me salary that I want?

I have around 10 years of experience and all my life I have worked in product MNCs only. Currently, I got a role in another product MNC with 60L base pay + 5 lacs joining bonus + 9L worth of company stocks in the form of yearly bonus and $46000 of company stocks vested in 4 years. Apart from this I have 35 thousands of one time work from home setup and very generous health and wellness benefits and in terms of work life balance, this org is known for its work culture and work life balance. I have accepted the offer and going to join on 3rd April. Now my question is, if I work here for next 3 to 4 years and then decides to move to a service based company, will they be able to match my salary? Few additional info 1. I work in tech and not in management. I want to say in tech. 2. I want to work in service based org because the work is a lot less challenging/demanding and I get some time with my family. 3. I don’t care about company RSU and don’t consider that while switching.
