- Company don't focused on its growth. - They don't have enough projects. - HR department's recruitment strategy is mysterious. - Many developers seating free because they don't have project from long time still they wants to recruit for that technology and treating well their existing developer. - On other side potential resource are required in some projects but they are not able to find good candidate. - Actually running an IT company is just a face but one another business they are running is religion conversation. - When a new person join the company they give a christian name to the person and tell that we have US clients so they can't pronounce Indian names properly. So this is your client friendly name. - But that's not true company show this as they converted the person and get funding from US christian community. - They celebrate many events like dev day, family retreat but in each and every they invite peoples from christian community and give insights or their religion. - They don't have money to pay for employee benefits but they are building swimming pool. No single factor to be liked. Just a bunch of illiterates running this conversion centre. Read my review it could save your life.
It would be a long review, I have worked for quite a long time, and I know each and out of this organisation: About Rubico: 1. First you need to understand this is not an IT company, this is a missionary. They will give you a Christian name and say it would be a client-friendly name. 2. In every corner of the organisation, you will find a bible. 3. They will pray and thanks Jesus and God after every dinner and delivering the project. 4. If you ask Stan the owner why you set up an IT company in Haridwar, he will say God messaged me. 5. You can check every profile on Linkedin of the foreigners they studied BA Religion, BA Christianity majors, not B Tech or MS or any other IT-related degree. 6. These Rubico foreigners will visit poor African countries where they are having no business each year. 7. Young foreign ladies are trained to learn Hindi and become nurses in nearby churches and missionary hospitals and deliver babies after joining HR in Rubico. How this could be possible? 8. Once you enter the office, you will feel like you entering a church. 9. Out of 10, 8 projects are of Churches and Christian schools or Missionary hospitals. No good projects. For FRESHERS: 1. They are singing a bond of 2.5 years for freshers, you will be a slave for them in 15000. Even if you will break the bond in 2.4 years, they will ask for the whole amount they have given to you as salary. 2. If they hire 10 freshers they will fire 5 of them in the next 6 months, and 1 every month and again they will hire, fire and cycle continues of hiring and firing and conversion. 3. No good projects, only a few technologies, otherwise only a bench, and they can fire you anytime. 4. No good mentors here. 5. No learning curve for freshers, they will only learn office politics here. About EMPLOYEES: 1. 95% of employees of experienced employees are from NON MNCs or any good company background, they are either from very small agencies or some lalachap companies. They don't know how things work in the real world. 2. Non Competent employees. They are just working to pass their time. 3. Very poor communication skills of so-called senior employees. 4. They would monitor the time when junior employees leave the office, and what she is wearing. 5. Best for BHEl employees' wives, they can get 20000 to 25000 here, and they will come to the office have talks and go to go their homes. Nothing else. 6. Now coming to HR K e v I n K u n d a n, he was a peon in the previous company, and he is having no formal education in HR or Technical. 7. KK does not know what POSH is. what is the attrition rate, and what are the guiding principles of HR. he wouldn't get any job outside Rubico. You will get to know what kind of person he is when he starts speaking. 8. Senior employees will monitor your lunch time, break time and everything. About policy: 1. The feedback system, will provide you feedback every month for the initial 6 months, and if you get 2 negative feedback you will get fired. They don't know how feedback works. You don't know who gives you feedback and they can give anything based on your habits, dressing, GF BF, or anything like a boarding school. 2. They will provide increments twice a year and the amount would be Rs. 200, 300 and if you are lucky enough you could get even Rs. 750 increment. You can ask any employee what increment they received in the last cycle. 3. You can come to the office any time and leave anytime, flexible hours they will say but they will monitor your in and out time from CCTV. 4. They will monitor if you smoke and with whom you are roaming around. With whom you are coming and going, just small-town aunties things. 4. Fake review on Glassdoor from freshers. 5. Who do the typing test of 40 WPM, there will take your typing test every month. For EXPERIENCED: 1. I have seen 5 years of experience employees who got fired after 2 months in Rubico. He shifted his home and got admission to his kids in Haridwar and after 2 months they fired him. 2. They will take hours-long interviews and would say you are not fit for the job after 3 to 4 months of joining. 3. They can fire you anytime. Even one of the employees was fired before his engagement. 4. They will come to your sister's marriage and have dinner and will fire you next week. 5. They are having no reason to fire you, you wouldn't be able to understand why they fired you. 6. If you are coming from MNC background please don't join, the atmosphere here is very negative. 7. If you are moving from a big city, please don't, you will regret your decision. 8. Experienced employees don't know ODC, offshore employees, on-site any of the terms. 9. Only 1-2 clients, other projects are of churches. If you are unable to find a job anywhere in the world then only join Rubico. This is not a company this is a conversion centre. Senior employees are like the frogs of the pond they haven't seen anything else apart from Rubico. Think by logic, this is an IT company from 2000 and they are not having a headcount of 150. Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent. There is a gaming arcade for chilling where we play TT and carrom.
It’s good for the freshers and I don’t think there is any bad things except those pupils who do backbitching in their free time.
I am cloud engineer here and have a responsibility to manage network as well. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team.
