Toxic culture fostered by the C level leadership. If you want a good example of bad leadership team / bad management at the top this is the best example. Hands down! Its like a reality show. Drama, backstabbing, eliminations, hypocrisy, hostile. All in one. They use you and toss you out. The leadership principles are just for name sake. None of them actually live by it. Even the ones who came up with it. For eg - Challenge each other directly if you disagree you are gone. Puff!! A bunch of consulting sr leaders have messed up CX beyond repair. Its like dictatorship. They will dictate and you have to listen. If you don't they will make your life at the comp difficult and fire you at the first available opportunity. The immaturity and selfishness some of these so called directors display is unbelievable. They lack empathy, compassion and basic human instincts. They are so superficial. If you are soooo done with the world outside and given up on life. You just want to eat, sleep work and repeat. This is probably the best place to do that. You can forget your social life.
This isn't a conducive environment for personal growth or any growth as a matter of fact. Compensation is good, but there's no opportunity for learning. And mind you, they'll kick you out for no good reason. Politics heavily influences decisions, including terminations. I somehow felt that the support team is filled with individuals lacking leadership and competence. Another really alarming fact is how the teams here are treated(someone mentioned the word slave, well unfortunately thats correct). Idk about other functions but support@rippling has the worst culture ever, you are not encouraged to speakout/voiceout. Hypocrisy is a great word to describe life here. Racist company! If you are a Kannadiga or a South Indian, don't even bother applying to this company and waste your time. The recruiters are Hindi speaking (in the background he was talking in Hindi to someone while he was speaking to me on the phone call) that forcefully reject your application once they find you are South Indian.Here is what happened! A North Indian friend who was my colleague from one of my previous company referred me for this role. I was told that there will be 3 rounds for my role. The first round is an assessment round, the 2nd a video call with the HR and the 3rd a video call with the product manager. I did well in the assessement round which is the 1st round and was moved to the 2nd round. A HR called early in the morning and informed me that I passed the 1st round and wanted to know my work experience which was already specified in my CV but I still answered all the questions. He asked me questions like a pre recorded ATM machine which did not seem like a human-human interaction with the way he spoke to me and after that he abruptly cut the call saying I will receive a feedback. The call lasted 4 minutes. The next morning I received a rejection email. There was no reason for this guy to reject my application other than having shady reasons because the email clearly specified that I will be having a video call for my 2nd round but this racist did a phone call to forcefully reject my application. It is absolutely sad to see a company co-founded by a South Indian having such a racist work culture....Read More

I liked the way the structure for customer support was setup within the company. I mean the way we handled our customers was very neat and this was possible only because of the structure.
Although the structure was pretty decent, there were a lot of flaws in training as we had to learn the product and everything that comes with the role on our own without enough materials to study. With lack of any training, we were also expected to start performing to be the best where we were still understanding how everything works.
