Likes

Good work environment and culture. Team mates are very helpful to learn new things and seniors are guided very well to improve our skills. Flexible work hours. Hands-on training centre for testrun our project.

Dislikes

Salary issue is high, only the senerioty level people get good salary, new joinees and between 2 to 3 years of experience workers are not getting statisfying salary. The culture is very good, everyone helping each other to grow in all field.

Seeking advice on current job

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
