Staff is the best part there. And the organisation isn't supportive at all.

Dislikes

The thing I dislike about them is that they aren't direct. They tell different things to different people. They refused to provide salary to their staff for the month of May even after working for the entire month. And when people started working they only called their male staff to work and gave excuses to their female staff that we will call you up from July and asked the female staff to work on commission basis instead of providing them a definite sum of salary, even though they didn't agree. They left their employees during the most crucial time....Read More

Disappointing Interview Experience with D.E. Shaw

I recently interviewed with D.E. Shaw, and it turned out to be one of the most draining experiences I’ve had. The interviewer’s approach felt unnecessarily harsh and dismissive, which made the entire process uncomfortable. At multiple points, the interviewer asked me to drop off the call, even when I tried asking basic questions about the designation, job description, and other details. After the interview, I found myself sitting there for a few minutes, trying to process what just happened. It left me questioning the overall tone and professionalism of the interview. Definitely not the experience I was expecting from such a well-known firm.
