1. Accessibility: The location of our company in a remote and rural area poses challenges in terms of transportation accessibility. The lack of public transportation options makes commuting to and from work difficult for many employees. 2. Working Hours Policy: The strictly enforced 9-hour policy, where employees are expected to work for 8.5 hours consecutively, without adequate breaks, can be physically and mentally taxing. This policy leaves little room for flexibility and work-life balance. 3. Work Assignment and Skill Development: There is a lack of diversity in work assignments, which limits opportunities for employees to expand their skill sets and grow professionally. Additionally, there are limited avenues for skill development and career advancement within the organization. 4. Appraisal Process: The appraisal process seems to disproportionately penalize minor infractions, such as exceeding a 5-minute break outside the workstation, which can negatively impact employees' overall performance ratings and appraisals. 5. Uncompensated Overtime: The expectation to work late into the night, sometimes until midnight, without compensation or recognition, is unsustainable and unfair to employees who put in extra effort to meet deadlines or complete tasks. 6. Limited Food Options: The lack of food options, particularly in the evenings and after 4 PM, leaves employees with few choices for meals during their workday, impacting overall well-being and productivity. 7. Project Management and Communication: There are significant deficiencies in project management and communication practices within the organization, leading to inefficiencies, delays, and misunderstandings among team members. 8. Productivity Evaluation: Productivity evaluation based solely on working hours, including weekends, fails to account for the quality of work produced and disregards other factors that contribute to employee performance and effectiveness. 9. Lack of HR Authority: It is concerning that HR does not hold significant authority within the company and that decision-making power primarily rests in the hands of an old and senile manager.
