Lots of micro management, politics, toxic work environment. Managers always love highlighting people(who are just stealing some other developer's hard work credit). this manager's higher management is also influencing him to do so. No respect to non officers post.

Great work culture You might not get to work on latest technology as Investment firms usually have legacy codebase But you'll get to learn a lot about trading and business requirements

Do not ever join Corporate Workplace Technology department. It's headed by a fool and run by psychology ill leaders. They spend their time playing psycho games instead of working. Nobody in that department has any clue where this department is headed.
