The only thing that can be liked about MAQ Software is the fact that its highly paced in its working. Employees get to work on projects just from the second day of their joining. Because of these, everyone gets to learn a lot and very quickly.

Everything, other than getting opportunity to learn, is to be disliked in MAQ Software. Especially after the resignation of its old Director Vishal, employees are treated like labors without a right. No work life balance. Inefficient seniors and managers. Team leads would be looking for their own benefit. From the very day you join this company, you will regret it.

The work is too hectic and too boring. You never really code here. Neither do you gwt time to code. Simply copy paste and focus on getting the work done. No quality in the code that you write.

I can't say much good about the place but it is an okay place to work. Attrition rate is high because they don't even want to maintain it. Company only works on Microsoft projects and only promotes the candidates to learn microsft technologies. No other projects at all. Machine learning and prediction enthusiasts mostly get tricket after seeing the company's website and their vision for AI but in reality, there are mediocre management people who don't provide space or time or resource to new thoughts, that to without discussion. So R&D is also almost zero. Management is strict about timings. They want people to be in office at 8:45 no matter if they left at 11 o clock in the night last day. They were the last ones to provide work from home I guess in whole IT park. Favouritism is almost in every team. Appraisals don't happen for praising at all. It's okay till the part that a person can get less appraisal when they are not working. But here, even when everyone is working almost at the same level and giving as much effort as they can, there is a huge difference in the appraisal of people within the team and this difference is totally based on personal assumption of the management....Read More

Not recommended if looking for job roles inclueds coding and actual development. Most of the work related to reporting and data analysis and in these areas, you will get good learning.

Dislikes

No use of any programing language so you will start forgetting them, ds, algo concept. Work time are not flexible you have to be in office at 9 am.
