Everything, They were very abusive. There offer no support to grow/work. They make you work for more than 16 hours a day but still expect us to put in even more efforts on the job. They make you work no matter if you are travelling in train, bus, and air travel. Downright hell hole of place to work anywhere in India for KPMG. It's off on weekends only for namesake, they make you work everyday and expect you to be available 24x7 and wants you to travel and work from any place they would want you to without a care for your family. Colleagues and team people are very helping and connecting. Very less or no office politics I saw here.

Dislikes

Career growth is very slow, appraisal and rating does not depend on performance even after fulfilling all key metrics this is not sure that you will get rating -1, you may get 4 if your PM has higher number of reporties, some how KPMG needs to works on their review and decision making policies for betterment of their employees.

Nothing is good about this firm, initially during the HR interview I asked whether it's a client specific hiring or not. They said yes it is, but after joining they started asking us to go through complex Hackerrank test and mock interviews and after clearing that , they allow to appear client interview which will be of 2 rounds of interview of complex level even more than KPMG interview. And they will pressurize a lot to resource, and within couple of months if you are not mapped to client they will include you in performance evaluation plan and take actions....Read More

Unfortunately I do not see anything till now which I liked about KPMG India. Only Indian clients are there and they are terrible to work with. I give importance to work and life balance in which I do not have to deteriorate my health to complete the tasks within deadlines and here we don’t get that balance at all.

Dislikes

They took projects for short deadlines and don’t keep the buffer in the timelines. Even if you have fallen sick they will call you several times and ask about work and talk in a very rudely manner. Teams leads here are not supportive or helpful and they are always ready to escalate you to higher ups. Very toxic work environment as per my opinion.

Worked as a PMO - Work culture, Process less work model, incapable leadership, Boomer women with no knowledge in leadership position in the name of diversity, Hire and fire policy trend being followed, no value for efforts, compulsion to complete irrelevant trainings and certifications, even a supermarket employees would have a process to follow. Expectation is not clearly communicated, the model is like they leave us on a desert(assignment) with 0 information, somehow we will have to thrive from there and no one from India will be there to even ask for any information. It works good when the client is interactive and cooperative, if not, we'll end up with a bad feedback and escalation to our reporting manager which will impact our performance ratings. Most importantly - we were made to pay fine for missing dew dates to complete mandatory trainings and timesheets. (This could be a new information for a lot of people) Hacks to survive - keep showcasing something or the other to the leadership to get atleast a minimal hike at the year-end. No work life balance, not all partners understand the policy of the firm. Even the HR is controlled by the partners and doesn't work as per policies of the organization. Company do have good policies but not followed and escalation are not taken into account and if done then the senior Harresment starts. So not a good environment to work into.
