Instead of hiring new people, the higher management distributes work among the existing employees by telling them to learn new technologies along with existing work.

The values and policies which was fixed by firm were not followed only showing and promoting it for showcase. Management is worst due to more toxic environment. Job security is not their when seniors and managers manipulate if anyone raised this concerns with HR. HR will also support to seniors and they tell sorry we can't help eventhough you have all the evidence to prove the case and even though you were high performance. The people are really helpful and understanding.

There is no work life balance. If an employee works overtime there is no OT pay. Employee has been to stretch for 13-14 hours minimum on daily basis.

I am talking about Digital Solutions Next team - There is no clear communication from the management or leadership on what our projects pipeline looks like, nor a clear assignment of resources to the project etc. Today you will be in one project, after 2 weeks in some other. The sad part is the firm takes every random project that comes their way.

Work life balance is decent. Career path is clear (but highly depends on the team and manager) Company policies are good.

This is coming from my experience in a particular team. Someone else might have a better experience definitely. My team was horrible, biased, illogical and non-appreciative. People were looking to satisfy their own agenda. Colleagues and team people are very helping and connecting. Very less or no office politics I saw here.

Dislikes

Career growth is very slow, appraisal and rating does not depend on performance even after fulfilling all key metrics this is not sure that you will get rating -1, you may get 4 if your PM has higher number of reporties, some how KPMG needs to works on their review and decision making policies for betterment of their employees.

While consulting has its own fair share of work life balance, but the team I work with makes work feel like life. At the end of the day it flow’s from top and the leadership I have been working with directly right now is super amazing.

Dislikes

There have been a lot of whirlwind changes in leadership (OVER ALL KPMG LEVEL) which seems to be more reactive than proactive.

My Team was good. Learning and exposure was great.

Low pay. Amazing level of pay disparity. Sometimes for a long stretch had to work for longer hours. Less work life balance
