Toxic environment Politics Even though we have good policy set up at kpmg they are not following in reality. And also in salary they will reduce without informing in allowance and just give reason like transport expenses. But 5000rs is not worth to be reduced in the name of transport every month. And this is not did from starting as well. It was just done without informing as well. If we raise any concern with senior manager they will not support they only support to their favourable people and if raise concern with HR against manipulation and toxic environment at team. Extremely Disappointed with KPMG's Recruitment and Background Verification Process I am writing this review to express my profound dissatisfaction with KPMG's recruitment and background verification (BGV) process. Despite successfully completing all formalities and receiving an offer, my profile was rejected during the BGV without any prior notification or clear justification. Here are the key points of my experience: Lack of Communication: After receiving the offer, I was informed that my profile did not pass the BGV. This decision was made without any prior notification or opportunity to rectify any supposed issues. Unjustified Rejection: The rejection was based on a mistake in the uploaded documents, which could have been clarified if I had been given the chance. Despite my repeated requests to re-verify the documents, the recruiter did not respond or provide any assistance. Professional and Personal Impact: Trusting KPMG's offer, I resigned from my previous job. Now, I find myself unemployed with significant financial commitments and responsibilities towards my family. This situation has caused immense stress and uncertainty. Unresponsive Recruiter: Throughout this ordeal, the recruiter handling my case was unresponsive and dismissive of my requests for clarification and assistance. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable from a reputed firm like KPMG. I urge KPMG's higher authorities to review and address this issue to prevent such occurrences in the future. I am talking about Digital Solutions Next team - There is no clear communication from the management or leadership on what our projects pipeline looks like, nor a clear assignment of resources to the project etc. Today you will be in one project, after 2 weeks in some other. The sad part is the firm takes every random project that comes their way.

Colleagues and team people are very helping and connecting. Very less or no office politics I saw here.

Career growth is very slow, appraisal and rating does not depend on performance even after fulfilling all key metrics this is not sure that you will get rating -1, you may get 4 if your PM has higher number of reporties, some how KPMG needs to works on their review and decision making policies for betterment of their employees.

While consulting has its own fair share of work life balance, but the team I work with makes work feel like life. At the end of the day it flow’s from top and the leadership I have been working with directly right now is super amazing.

There have been a lot of whirlwind changes in leadership (OVER ALL KPMG LEVEL) which seems to be more reactive than proactive.
