The flexible timings for IT employees not sure of others. Salary payment is not an issue no hurdle in it.

work culture is very toxic. in the name of utilization they make us work for long hours. Onshore has no clue about the documents that need to be supplied to the global team. they just follow up whether the given work is done or not. each task is attached with a timer, and the time given will be less than the actual time needed to complete the work and you are not supposed to overcharge it unless you have a proper justification....Read More

1. GDC Management fears US guys (people like business unit leads and engagement teams); consequently, Indian employees are made to work late (past 9:30pm), work harder and meet more stringent standards so that the US guys continue to fund the office here. 2. Many of their softwares are slow (eg: the VDI used to login remotely, some of their knowledge base websites) and people nervously laugh it off in meetings. 3. Office politics and everyone fears the person above them(managers fear directors who fear leadership). 4. Most (except SQL) technology used is KPMG made and it has no real value outside this company. 5. We do not have permission to do use any open-source/free technology, not even powerful tools like python/R (imagine doing data analytics without python/R, it happens here). Instead we need to use Alteryx and excel. 6. Every access request needs to go through a maze of approvals (and inevitable long delay periods) before we can get our request approved. This is because by default we do not have access to much. 7. There is no incentive to be creative/solve problems; rather we are expected to follow pre-made guides/instructions and follow routine monotonous steps and procedures to reach pre-defined end goal. 8. We get pushed around to various teams without any hint of it made known to us. 9. The longer we stay here the harder it gets to move out because we learn nothing new except for how to use the softwares that are owned solely by KPMG, which obviously has zero value outside....Read More

Too much politics, you are not rewarded for what u work, as there are more of graduates than professionals such as CA, they feel inferior and do back bitching. CA's are not required for KPO offices as they will be ruining their career and once they get out from this company, they can get job only in big 4 back office KPO businessline..as they are not uptodate for Indian Audit and taxation. CA's can work only for money..unlimited work.. those who dont have spouse can spend their life !...Read More

You have to work on saturdays in the months of January till March. However you would get good brunch on saturdays.
