In some project work from home is provided. That is only the like. That too, need to visit office on a immediate call. No professionalism!
Plenty of dislikes are there. I will only mention few. Shailendra Singh from pune location is an arrogant manager. He don't know anything....He know only to blame others for his mistakes. I don't know how kishor patil still keeping such kind of people in the company. Waste fellow! He made lot of loss to the company and easily managed it by blaming and putting everything on employees under him. HRs are puppet of managers at KPIT. So sad to say, CEO is literally unaware, how micro management is happening in Pune and Bengaluru location. 0% job security. No professionalism by HRs while talking with an employee. Don't Join Honda Project. If you are looking to deep diving into technology then KPIT is NOT the company for you. They have only mediocre level work and you can't complaint to your manager about work satisfaction he will not consider it and if you poke hime 3-4 time you will see effect in appraisals etc. Pathetic culture in Honda Project. I git nice colleagues because of the toxic management
No work life balance. I have been spending 16-18 hours a day on my project. And my senior manager who does micromanaging asked me to stretch more time. Here the senior management has no vision, no skills in milestones settings and planning. They make the developer’s lives miserable just to cover their mistakes. I still wonder how KPIT is making this much profit using these idiots

I see the people in this company are very good. For Data scientists, DCS practice is good, but they hire people anticipating they will get project, but they end up with general software engineering/data engineering projects.
For Data scientists, the DCS practice is good, but they have issue with hiring a lot of people anticipating for project win but they endup giving them general software engineering/data engineering projects. There is no good project to learn from in AI ML domain. I felt my time in company got wasted. There is no or minimal Salary increment mostly (1-4%), when joining better be prepared with that. They have an organizational wide practice of using their internal tools, so be prepared to fill JIRA/Redmine both daily. Timelog is linked to tool like JIRA called Redmine where you have to fill timelog properly according to each category(15-30) which is a tedious work. They will check if you have committed 5 lines each day or not(Foolish idea). Your code reviews has to be mentioned in excel sheet and loads of manual work on excel sheets are involved. Sometime you will feel if its a software company or a dataentry company. They will find out your faults in these things and let you know that why you are not getting good appraisal or salary increment. KPIT is in good direction for Automotive software related technologies. People from Software background have good career at KPIT.
Some managers forcing employees to work all days even there is no project requirement and company already have hybrid working policy (I am talking about Mechanical design related projects). Traffic and phase 3 location is not worth working at KPIT (If someone forces all days a week working).

1. KPIT academy has great learning opportunity . 2. they really have good courses if you want to build your skills and do certifications perfect place. 3. also there are default courses will be assigned based on your grade which will help to continuously grow.
