One can gain knowlege and exposure on good banking systems but process is very difficult. Apart from that nothing is advantage to work with kotak. Good bank for beginners.

Dislikes

Corporate insurance is given only 70% to all employees whereby 100% in all other corporates. Even we travel officially stay facility is not encouraged. No work life balance. Treating performers and non performers same and equal. Process is tough and also not needed. If process is more important then why hectic business pressure...cant understand. Even for passing irda/amfi this bank is not paying any reimbursements where all banks pay for it bec the Register code is with the bank immun not individual....Read More

In the right departments, under the right boss, you can have good work life balance. Usually work is recognised without much showmanship and you'll get atleast a basic fair appraisal if not a good one.

Dislikes

Salaries and hikes are seriously low compared to competition. Because of this reason, they have high attrition yet they refuse to revise pay scales. Promotions and high appraisals are very hard to come by; work is not enough to get these, you have to be in the good books of upper management; who are usually not objective when judging work. A lot of favouritism is practiced. Top and middle management layer is very very lazy. All they do is attend meetings, and dispense ideas and work onto juniors, without giving a thought to the practicality of execution. It is left up to the junior working layer 'how' to do something. Management will only tell you 'what' is to be done. You will get no help or training in the 'how' part....Read More
