Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..

Good work environment. Teammates are supportive and the management is transparent.company policies are good and fair.

There is a lot of politics and tbe management doesn't address our issues.

Salary - Bad

Work Details

The job is quite interesting! Struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt too many aspect of CSR domain. I got a chance to do multiple task and that helped me get a taste of different roles with in the same team.

Work days: Monday to Saturday (Strict Timings)

Work related travel: This is a desk job.
