The company uses Spring based Custom Framework where everything is abstracted. So a developer couldn't learn the interior operations of the Framework which is a huge drawback to the developers. Still manual testing is taking place where for each and every iteration 10-14 documents has to be prepared for the Test case execution process. This is the development centre of the Japanese company "Works Applications" also can be called it's subsidiary. The requirements are gathered and documented by the Japanese developers and given to Chennai developers (IVTL developers). The provided requirements will be in Japanese and it will be translated to English, the translated document requirement understanding will be very difficult. Most of the Japanese developers are little slow in English .For each and every doubt in requirement we have to raise an Ticket in Task Tracking Tools(Internal Tools). The clarifications couldnt be received easier. It will take some time. The doubts which could be clarified within 5 minutes of direct conversation will be taken to 2-3 with textual conversation in the ticket. The development and testing time is very very low so that the developers or testers has to work 4 times the normal speed. Some will be good, most of them hates the company. Some will butter their managers and Team Leads to prevent them from being fired. All are working only for the sake of the salary package which is good for freshers. Unable to balance work with life since we have to stay in the company until we have to complete the work even though the work delayed due to environment issues. Environment issue is one of the major drawback of delay to IVTL Developers and testers.The environment won't be stable at all the time.it will available at any time and mostly only after our work hours.hence since morning to evening we won't have any work and after our work time we have to work.
