The top and middle management is totally f***ed up. They are biased, there are lot of people working there who are relatives or the neighbours or friends of founders and co-founders. The management doesn't take any action against the bad behavior of such people. There is lot of favaoritism which highly effects the promotions and appraisals. They will keep on calling you a part of IPV family and taking advantage of you in terms of salary and over-work. One incident made me realise that there is no growth in the organisation where I got to know that my manager and the line manager doesn't know what is difference between calendar year and financial year. They will ask you to over work saying that they have family they have kids to take care of since you are unmarried and have no extra responsibilities you can work on behalf of your manager or the line manager. The official working hours are from 09:30 am to 6:00 pm but they do meetings after that, they expect you to stay in office by 8 or 8:30pm. Your manager is free to call you even after the office hours are over. Your manager will be having "n" number of leaves and work from home days but you will be restricted with an insuffiecient number of leaves and wfh days and will asked a lot of questions to get those approved.
