- People who threaten to leave get promoted faster and get better hikes. When I was leaving the firm offered me better pay, I would have appreciated it every year rather then being considered after resigning. - The work is mostly of process IT automation or data wareshouse migration. The work is what would be classified as mostly ba ck office. The skills are transferable, however back office kills you slowly. It saps all your motivation. It is good for an IT guy, however people with interest in core finance it is better avoidable. <mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;"> - Work life balance is on the negative side</mark>. The main problem is not the volume of work, it is the variance in work, and given all the clients are based in USA the timings don't work in your favour....Read More

Training/ Learning & Development - Minimal to un-adequate. They expect MBA grads to take end to end ownership of the projects. This leads to un-due timeline/$ delay/impacts, and un due high work pressure. Job Security - Okay. If you go against the will of someone egoistic (Director or above ranks), then be prepared for the worst. Car eer Growth - The talks of promotions only come when you put your papers/resign. Feedbacks/Appraisals - feedbacks are not specific in nature, and we're to general. Most of the times you end up executing projects under some other director. So your reporting director doesn't know your exact performance. The check-ins with directors are only once in six months. Salary/appraisal - higher single digit to 13% on average for BAs. Travel - Good, no complaints here. Politics - Luckily I didn't face any discrimination/ lost upon any opportunities due to corp politics. My director was fare and square on that regard. Work environment - A Honeymoon period (2-3 months) of training, followed by immense work pressure. This is where the company lags. "Training" cannot substitute experience, as in, you cannot train a person to run project. S/he should be "tagged" along with someone who knows/does that in & out, and should be transitioned "in" to a role. The firm lacks this strategy, and expect a freshmen out of a B-school to run a project which leads to a toxic environment with little to no help from managers or directors. Innovation/Growth Strategy - Poor - The company is not willing to invest to penetrate new markets/ hire highly experienced people/ get investors aboard which can take the Co to next level/on a growth trajectory. Work-life balance - Dark circles/coffee Mugs :( Don't even want to get started on this). HR Policies - Okay. I somehow felt that the hrs didn't have much say<mark style="background-color: #fff5e4;">. I was into Consulting/implementation side. Delivered several projects, was considered as an imp resource. Exited without a single promotion or any major accolade (lack of positive feedback). Offered promotion/perks to retain. I Gleefully rejected those!

The company provide various benefits like cab services and meals. Also the job security is great beacause it has a high attrition rate so they try their hardest to retain the employees.

Dislikes

No work-life balance at all. Salary is low according to the work you do. You will have to work 10-12 hours everyday.
