Coming to the dislikes section of your review, we believe that you have already made up your mind to write generic, misleading & vague comments rather than providing more context for the benefit of the readers of this review. To start with, irrespective of the sector or scale of any business or organisation, customers are an integral part of the revenue earning process, and we are sure that even you would agree that no organisation can truly prosper if they do not prioritize their customers. But at HSC, just like customer centricity, employee centricity also acts as a cornerstone to our foundational values. These are the same values that have resulted in a rich technical & engineering legacy of over 18 years. We are also fortunate to have HSCians who have been with us since our inception and the media tenure at HSC stands at an impressive 6.4 years. In these competitive times and the sector we are operating in, it would not have been possible for an organisation to be on the growth path that we are on without the support of their employees. However, yes, we do agree that there are times when just like any other software and engineering services company, customer & at times, phase of the project do influence our working routine. That is why HSC has a policy on flexible working hours, which by definition, explains that we do not observe strict office timings. As you must also be knowing that the Flexi Time policy helps ensure that HSCians get break to rejuvenate themselves after extended hours. Since we believe what you might be experiencing could be a case of miscommunication, we would encourage you to talk to your manager, engineering group head, engineering head or for that matter with Mr. Vinod Sood, MD. As we walk the talk when it comes to following the open-door policy. Coming to the dislikes section of your review, you have made some vague, misleading and generic comments without providing any context or information. Making such comments without any information only affects your credibility and showcases your unprofessional approach towards your workplace. As is known to each HSCian, we follow an open-door policy at HSC and employees irrespective of hierarchy can talk to their managers, engineering group heads, engineering head or for that matter even to Mr. Vinod Sood, MD. What you may have misconstrued as politics could be a case of misunderstanding or miscommunication, which if you would have had talked about with your manager then you would not have been making generic statements on a public platform. While there can seldom be done if one has made up their mind but we would still encourage you to either do what is mentioned above or you can also leverage HSC’s internal platforms like Amber, Q2M, Zero Hour and share your concerns and suggestions anonymously, if you wish so. We would also like to address the readers of the review through you that HSC works for leading OEM’s and product companies around the globe. From the three state-of-the-art R&D centres, we are currently working on projects in the areas of 5G, Satellite Communication, Software Defined Networks, NFV, Enterprise Applications, IoT, AI/ML, Cloud, Security, Embedded Systems, Test Automation, etc. And around latest Digital Technologies like Cloud, AI & ML, NoSQL/SQL databases, Microservices architecture, Spring boot, Angular, React, Python, Django, Selenium. In Wireless, we are working on most cutting-edge work in the 5G, O-RAN, Software Defined Radio, LTE, M-plane, Network Function Virtualization and satellite communication, Embedded development using C, Linux, Microcontroller, RPA etc. Coming to your comment on “no new learning”, had you actually have had a conversation regarding your learning aspirations with your manager, they would have directed you towards the Centers of Excellence, where in you can learn and interact with likeminded engineers to work & innovate on technology of your choice. At HSC, our dedicated Learning & Development team also conducts training seminars & workshops for engineers on a regular interval and for which one can nominate themselves. We also conduct monthly Tech Talks, which facilitate learning of newer technologies. The opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies with global clients and learning from the best tech minds by working alongside, HSC offers an all-round learning experience with positive long-term effects on the growth of every HSCian. When one has made up their mind to find “everything” as “pathetic”, there is really seldom much can be done to change the opinion. And especially when the information provided is vague and generic. At HSC, we have median tenure of HSCians at an impressive figure of 6.5 years and some of the associations going back more than 10 years and counting. In this day and age where of fierce competition, it would make no sense for employees to work for so long at an organisation where there is “no skill development”. Also, an organisation that has been on the growth path with a rich technical legacy since the last 18 years like us would not have been so if “everything” was “pathetic” in it. Moreover, as you must also be knowing that currently the sector is still recovering from the effects of the pandemic and while many organisations have resorted to retrenching their employees, at HSC we have never in the past nor now, have let the market conditions affect any HSCian. It seems that you have already made up your mind on disliking your organisation for your comments lack any context, are vague & generic and misleading. HSC as an organisation is CMMI Level 5 certified and became the first company globally to be appraised at Maturity Level 5, in the combined benchmarking appraisal for the three domains of Development, Services and People. By extension, an organization with “poor” management, inefficient HR cannot sustain or exist and create a legacy since the last 18 years as we have done. When you say that HSC is working on older technologies, kindly note that with three state-of-the-art R&D centres, we are working on multiple projects using the latest Digital Technologies like Cloud, AI & ML, NoSQL/SQL databases, Microservices architecture, Spring boot, Angular, React, Python, Django, Selenium. In Wireless we are working on most cutting-edge work in the 5G, O-RAN, Software Defined Radio, LTE, M-plane, Network Function Virtualization and satellite communication, Embedded development using C, Linux, Microcontroller, RPA etc. HSC being an Engineering Services Organization, constant learning of new technologies and staying abreast with the latest advancement is an integral part of the organization. We find that your comments in the dislikes section of the review are not only vague and misleading but is also a generic one which lacks any context. Being a member of HSC and especially the HR team, you must be aware that HSC is a PCMM & CMMI Level 5 certified organisation and by extension of that it means that all our policies and procedures are aimed at benefitting not only the organisation but also our people.
