There is not much work load, 5 days week, flexible timings and you get to interact with a lot of great academicians from around the globe.

Dislikes

This is a government organization. It has two categories of employees, first is the Permanent Category and the other one is the Contractual Category. The Permanent Category regards the Temporary Category as the actual working category and all work load is passed onto them. The Permanent category gets paid more than their work while the Temporary category is very low paid. This is the biggest disadvantage at present at Indian Statistical Institute.
