Compensation wise it is good but the tradeoff is your work life balance.
I will not recommend anyone to join impetus because of below mentioned points: 1) Too much work pressure. 2) your supervisor will expect you to stretch everyday for atleast 12 hrs and then work on weekends too without any compensation. Moreover if you ask to take vacation leave they will discourage you because of their unrealistic deadlines. 4) No support at all from leader ship team. I don't like it at all.
They play with a employee's life very joyfully. They don't care about anything. They will make you work endlessly day and night. There is nothing like work hour. Despite that you can be thrown out at any time after the project is over.

Impetus wasn't this bad during the time of my joining that is around two years back but the current environment is the worst something can be. Projects are of short duration i.e., for 2-3 months, 15-16 hours of work, can't even get your sleep hours so forget about work life balance. People put paper out of frustration and even then the inhumanity takes over and they would force you to leave immediately without having to serve the notice period. The Culture (period). People generally spend 55+ weekly hours and when I say spend it's not the in and out time , it's like continuously sitting on the laptop and juggling between multiple "high priority" tasks every day. The mind tends to lose its senses and so does the family seeing you struggling so much.

So, out of frustration, I decided to put paper in order to get some time to prepare for interviews elsewhere as it was practically not possible to prepare while being in a project there. There is nothing to like in the impetus except getting work from home other than its worst.
It has been the worst company of my career so far as they openly asked to work for 11-12 hours shift (without extra pay) then without 2 week offs. Hardly you will be able to get 2-4 week offs in whole month( they pay only 1000 per day for extra week offs work nothing extra apply if you even work on Saturdays or Sundays so they treatall days same). There is no project management, first they did not hire people when required so as they were unable to deliver people on time then they did over hiring and once project delivered then straightaway they laid off 75% team. We were 37 members in the team they laid off around 30 employees. After doing this much hard work they gave only 3 ratings to all and made that variable pay. You won't be able to learn anything as you won't get time to learn. Still you will keep receiving mail like impetus is one of the best companies, safest place to work for women. Best for work life balance. If you write mail to your manager or lead they will say they will give break once project delivered. Even they will ask you to work when you are not well. Like having fever or anything, they say please plan your sick or emergency leave. You won't be able to utilize your any leave like EL/CL/SL even after working for 2 years. If you go to HR then nothing gonna happen even they don't change the project. I was not even able to take 4 Sunday as week off in 2 years work....Read More

In Impetus there is project .. Leaplogic, It is the worst place to work because of toxic work culture. Overwork and also not related to your expertise, randomly assigned any work on any language and they don't have money to hire Language expert so they assign task to you understand new/old technology within 2-3 days.
