Hello ,I hold bachelor degree in mechanical engineering 2019. With 4.5 yoe in Total 1)Associate product compliance engineer - 1.5 years 2)Currently working as Project engineer (compliance). 3 years I see no growth in my current company and current role.so I’m looking for career shift, high growth and good package. Skills 1) Environmental compliance(REACH,ROHS,..) 2)Basic networking OS,Linux basic, Aws cloud 3) SAP MM (in progress) 4) Project Management (self preparation from PMBOk) I’m confused between sap mm consultant and project management I’m getting difficult to choose,Which would be great choice according to my background and high pay, stable job Can anybody recommend which domain /role is good for career transition! I’m looking for career shift Help will be appreciated. Current role Project engineer handling projects related to environmental compliance. FYI

I'd lean towards Project Management. It's a versatile skill set that can be applied to various industries. Your engineering background could be a significant advantage. Plus, the PMP certification can open doors to many opportunities.

Try asking yourself these quesitions: Do you enjoy learning complex systems? (SAP MM) Do you prefer leading project teams? (Project Management) Are you drawn to data analysis? (Data Analyst)

If you are ready to learn Basic SQL, Python, Tableau then you can go with Data Analyst. This won't ask you much effort

@projectengineer lot of it people try to learn specific domains , but you are coming from the other side which could be an advantage with your domain knowledge. Maybe you’re not in the right company but if you look at companies like AtkinsRealis you could try there as well.
