There is Nothing in IDBI Bank which may be liked. Higher authorities staying just across the Road in IDBI Tower, come by Chauffeur Driven Car and the Employees coming from far off places in Mumbai; if they are late by 1 Second also on 3rd occasion in a Month then their One Day Leave is deducted / marked absent.

The Promotion takes place as per Strong lobbies of South Indian Lobby (Tamil and Keralite), Very Strong Oria lobby. If a person has a God Father and he belongs to any of the above lobby, then Promotion is 100% sure. Highly partisan/ one sided Promotion Policy. All the Big Loan Cases which were coming for Rating belonged to One Higher Authority or the Other and accordingly pressure was there to give good Rating....Read More

One should take initiative and show leadership qualities, take along with colleagues and should be a good team player. Do not look at other old colleagues but be self motivated and drive the process. I used to lead my team in the Accounts Payable Unit of the Bank. I joined this bank after a great experience from 2 foreign banks. I set up this unit from the scratch and in the process had a good learning experience from some of my colleages.
