But rather than handling the work by yourself , you'll always have senior/manager to help you through it. Initial salary and increment is higher than industry and you might get opportunity to work in products.

Sure , technology wise there are scope of improvement . But , if you are confident about implementing something new , you'll be encouraged . Learning and implementation is the way to change existing older code .
