The best thing about the organisation is it's work Life balance, there fare to bank fare to customer approach. In ICICI seniors are not allowed to pressure employee. Easy to crack business

The most dislike thing was they have college based promotion system, means if someone is graduated from best institute, he/she will get promoted even if their performance is below average.

Stay jobless, but don't work in this company, as they'll ask to carry your laptop while getting admitted in the hospital, they won't care about your well being, they only care about sales.

They don't care about your work-life balance, they don't care about your personal problems, they don't care whether you're mentally stable or not. They won't care about you or your efforts and your family doesn't exist for them. All they care about is sales

I am in product manager in ICICI Bank. This review is based on my experience, it can differ from person to person.Work life balance is good for me as we don't have too much pressure and stress. Salary and other benefits are also good. There is no appraisal system, therefore no leg pulling or working in silos is there which is very important for big organisation especially established banks. This very boon also have some cons like there are fixed increament at annual level which are close to 9% at mid management level and 4-5% at leadership levels. Additionally, the promotion happens in every 3 yrs(which is fixed based on your work experience and education level) till you reach leadership level and with each promotion you get salary hike of around 25% and from CM1 level you start to get Esops as well. Furthermore, there are fixed working hours from 9:15-5:15 for me and strictly no work from home policy. You have to be present physically everyday at ofc. Worst work culture.they dont beleive in teams meeting. They will make you go to different icici locations just for meeting purpose which can be easily done over teams. Seniors dont have professionalism in their behaviour. Technology wise they are way backwards than other organisations. No inhouse development team. Outsource applications.

Appraisal Rating system not applicable to all employees, Every 3 year got promotion. No Favouritsm. No official politics.

Job security. Anytime manager Change your working location without your consent. If not perform then you can transfer any location PAN India (punishment trasfer) Any stream graduate can work in ICICI even without any Banking knowledge in past, can join and work in any department. It will indirectly hampers Customer service TAT and Quality.

Demotions and Role Change without any intimation , consent and without taking into consideration about past experiences. HR’s role is Nothing. Just like a sleeping giants and henpecked husband. Future Career Growth is Nil. Anytime threaten to give RMG or Job loss. Employees are completely insecure about job and a few Seniors are taking decisions as per their own criteria. People like us were hired from other Banks by telling some role and after some time the role was suddenly changed to lower category. Actually ditching employees hired from other Banks. Complete lack of Moral Support and Guidance from Seniors. Zero intervention from HR . People like me had decided to join ICICI with retirement planning, but now it seems bank has decided not to provide that opportunity for long lasting relationship. Overall the organisation in terms of salary structure, Work life balance and promotion appraisal is better than any other existing Bank.

The organization is certainly not meant for employees who are novice in the banking field. The training and helping environment is not at all good.

Ideally should be the number 1 bank in India. Compared to HDFC & AXIS BANK the customer service and customer handling level is 200% better than HDFC & AXIS BANK
