It has excellent job security. We have noticed this many times and even recently due to COVID 19 situation, our industry was the one which is much affected due to this pandemic. Even in this situation, they have not done any lay off and instead they managed the situation internally well and kept their employees safe.

Dislikes

Compensation and benefits are the area which is lacking in IBS. They have changed salary revision cycle period couple of times as per their management decision and also introduced variable pay suddenly for the salary which was been paid out. Work satisfaction, work life balance and career growth & opportunities are the other weaker things in IBS. This needs improvement as well.

My role in IBS is Senior Test Analyst, in this role I have to manage my test team and figure out the challenges we face in testing. Also, sometimes, I have to play the role of business analyst, understand the requirements and figure it out clearly in need

Favouritism to a particular team member, Appraisal rating are not upto the mark, hardwork is not considered, if you raise voice against it employee will be layed off from the company through internal politics, no job security.

Only malayali pls get all support, if you are outsider , they'll treat you as alien. No support and outsider are not included in team activity. Sprint calls will be like interrogation. Unrealistic deadline and managers are totally biased to localities. Don't join if you are outsider

Salary hike very poor, but will be overloaded with work and no appreciation or acknowledgment from management side Work culture is also terrible, you may have to burn the midnight oil and then even work over the weekends without any extra payment. No respect for the PTO, they will ping/call you without any shame sometimes long PTO is not allowed hence no freedom of that.

It's just that they have projects and alot of work.

The coworkers are not supportive. Most of the employees are from Kerala so there is alot of support from same region employees but for North employees they are not supporting and putting a lot of pressure and also misbehave sometimes. Micromanage us which is insulting to me. They should behave equal to everyone and help someone who joins the team and is new to airlines domain.
