It depends on which department you are working. As I am working in so & so dept. so it's like working on festivals and holidays and just getting compensatory off rather than getting paid. There is more to talk about, not expected from hdfc bank.

Worst culture ! Mental Harassment at workplace from seniors & supervisors,when one is not able to meet sales objectives,no flexible work hours especially for operations staff in branch banking even if all activities are completed,they force you till night to stay and again sales meeting and same foul languages

Overall is good but, promotion is totally depends upon your supervisor, not on your output. Incentive is good but basic pay is too low

1. You will build good relationships 2. Customer base is huge 2. Due to heavy work load you will be trained enough to work in any other bank easily.

1. Work life balance is poor 2. At a point you will feel that you might have joined sales instead of joining operations as you will be treated the same as some sales staff. 3. Job security is fine but what about transfers, the seniors constantly threatens to do.

There work experience is good with manager who supports all his colleagues equally and always take stands for their employees that's most important thing in the office and team was quite good, supportive and ambitious for their work and we use to do work hard.

Dislikes

There was continuously use of headset on head and login hour's of 9 Hr that was too tough to manage thousands of criterias for getting incentive which I really don't like.

I was Credit Manager so I like the system of work flow as every loan application work digitaly. No physical files involved

Job Security - If you can't perform, then you need to leave. (One of my colleague at the age of 50 left the organisation for the same reason) Respect - In first 3 year, You will get motivated and highlighted by your bosses but after that you will get ignored as you will be transferred to other departments after completion of 5 Years at one product.

Politics faces always a front ground staff always threatening to staff for transfer, rating and many more. If we say any suggestions or openion to seniors then they always write a mail that you have descipline issue you have attitude at work place and many more. If I say there are lots of problem and politics which junior and front staff face in all the branches by branch manager and cluster head. I get terminated on dec 4 2023 just because of politics by branch manager and cluster head. No complaint by customer no forgery done by me just branch manager complaint for me that I have signed a FD request form on behalf of customer. But there is no complaint by customer or any other person then also I get terminated and 2 month passed away I didn't get my relieving letter. Just tell me how I do work and how I survive my family . I have only on option and the option is suicide because If I didn't get reliving letter then I didn't get a job in any bank. Nothing I don't even recognise even single positive point about HDFC Bank specially for employees. Trust me if you are not getting job that's fine wait for sometime but don't join this HDFC bank

Everything is dislike first of all please teach all the employees specially for senior manager management how to talk with employees loudly speaking and unwanted target is not the job of Branch manager, cluster head or Zonal Head. Please Ignore All the Bank job. See I am not giving any where feedback but I received email multiple times that's why I am sending.
