Variety of projects you can work on. Has big clients. Some projects make you work from client location. Some client locations are awesome!!!

But once you're stuck in one project it's hard to move to new projects unless your exceptionally good and have on point negotiation skills.

Opportunity to learn several research techniques, good marquee clients, a few peer directors and VPs, SVPs are very supportive

No regard for a senior person's prior experience. I feel wasted! CSOs aren't keen to ideate and offer best in class solutions to clients- mostly it is glorified process oriented data delivery. Actually some of the sales guys need basic ettiquet and consultative mental model training. A new director is expected to act as a PM- all work but no enablers

Exposure to clients at early stages. If you are talented and show proactiveness to learn, ample opportunities are offered. Good compensation if you are lateral hire, home grown are paid less sometimes

High performers struggle with better work life balance. In WFH setup you may feel less engaged with people as there are limited to no initiatives by HR or managers
