Recently WFH days were reduced from 2 days a week to 1 day a week which is very inconvenient for people who are travelling from far away because losing 4 hours of our time travelling results in fatigue and to carry on with other interests out of the job scope.

A few weeks ago, I started at Godrej Infotech as a Senior Executive, fresh out of college. We began with sessions from senior management that provided valuable insights into the company's history and personal growth opportunities. We then had both technical training with an external instructor and business understanding sessions which offered extensive business knowledge. Throughout the onboarding process, the management was supportive and helped understand the company culture. The huge campus impressed me with its large biodiversity and greenery. Besides work, there are amenities like clubhouse, canteens and breakrooms for relaxation and health. There are various employee engagement events throughout the year. The huge campus may also be a drawback as the shuttle frequency is low which means you might have to wait or walk sometimes. It is recommended to have a personal vehicle if possible. Additionally, you will be required to sign a bond agreement while joining so you might need to take that into account.
