The exposure one recieve as an articled assistant is immense. There is also lot of opportunities for developing interpersonal skills.

Dislikes

As a CA candidate you might not get exposure in IFRS or Ind AS as currently the entity do not have such clients.

The best place to get exposure in financial related matters, Auditing, Tax Return Filing etc. Was able to learn a lot.

Current Job Situation: I’ve been working at TCS for over 2.5 years, with a total experience of 4.5 years. My salary is 9.6 LPA, and I work with technologies like Casper framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSP, Java, PL/SQL, and JBoss. While I have good job security and flexibility, I feel like I’m working with outdated technologies and have a lot of leisure time, which is affecting my motivation. Concerns: 1. Outdated Tech: I’m worried that working with older tech will limit future opportunities. Should I stay or move to a role with newer technologies? 2. Salary: Is my current package competitive for my experience? What salary should I aim for if I switch? Seeking Advice: What modern technologies should I learn to stay relevant?
