The work culture of the Bank is extremely professional. Recently after that HDFC fiasco, I just realised, no one in my banking career of 9years dared to talk to me like that, in Federal Bank, no one even a VP, wont talk to even an entry level recruit like that. Federal Bank employees and management do not believe in humiliation of any kind. There is a sense of ownership in every employee of Federal Bank whenever you come across one, and all the employees of the Bank are called Federal Family for a reason. Federal Bank is the only Bank pan India who provides an ex gratia payment to all its employees from last several decades over and all the salaries, perks, perquisites and performance linked incentives. Since I joined Federal Bank in 2014, every time I saw the Bank posting a healthy profit figure, perhaps it’s only because of the trust of its employees and it’s customers. Dislikes

The name of our Federal Bank is still not known to all, at-least in the tier 2 and 3 towns of North, West and East India, so if you call some one saying you are calling from Federal Bank, the first response you get is “ where from you calling, Petrol Pump”. It happened to me several times. I just laugh it out. 🤣
