I worked in SEZ and CFT in EXL and I must say peers were good to work with. EXL need to improve monetary incentive plans and growth opportunities. Too much politics. Very bad alumni page, the team delays processing relieving letters, unaware of explanations they need to give specially when it comes to full and final payments. BPO level AVP SVPs like Mukesh Uppada, all involved in exploiting the employees just trying to save their jobs and keep blaming someone or the other. Fake promises of working together and just dodging real efforts. HR also know the situation and they are also just playing by the same books. Silent layoffs asking to resign in the name of lack of projects. No actions taken to improve these cases. Even the exit processes are not standard, you will have to ask them to do their job or else they will breach 90 days too. For that also they will blame you. 1. No structure in work - everything is ad-hoc, urgent and important. No planning 2. Too much office Politics - more competition, less collaboration 3. Micromanagement by EXL Managers - some managers make you sit on a call entire day as they want to see you work 4. Toxic work culture - people hide information from others, talk behind etc., 5. Some leaders in certain spaces like Insurance, RMTI lack vision and operate like a Lala 6. No hikes, delayed bonuses, delayed promotions in 2024 7. Managers and some ex-EXL clients leave no chance to humiliate you in a call and use unprofessional tone 8. Poor office facilities and a substandard health insurance. 9. They almost never pay referral bonus to you for hired people saying that the profile already existed in their database 10. They hire people with proven tech and business skills and don’t have any plan to utilise them. 11.
