People are good but management is pathetic

They only focus on cost cutting and use alot of man hours and there's no fun in work they just make people work like machines. I've seen my college crying and my position hasn't changed yet on paper it's been more then a year that they've promised it will happen.

I worked in SEZ and CFT in EXL and I must say peers were good to work with. EXL need to improve monetary incentive plans and growth opportunities. Too much politics. Very bad alumni page, the team delays processing relieving letters, unaware of explanations they need to give specially when it comes to full and final payments. EXL relieved me of no dues and after a year came back with recovery amount and that too when I called to ask regarding my relieving letter. Very bad experience....Read More

They mostly underhire, if they overhire, they don't promote early. The rehiring policy is bad, one can only get a level above than his previous role even if they come back after 3-4 years

They do not provide any leave when you already have in your bucket either you have any emergency or any urgent work they really don't care about it you just have to come office.No chance of promotion or increament in fact they cut a lot from your CTC.. Totally not supportive in anyway

Dirty washrooms,Close to zero appraisal,No IJP's and growth is only on the basis of recommendation from AM and Manager,No collaboration between Quality and operations,Conjusted working space,Poor airconditiong resulting in suffocation and unhygienic food offered that to provided by third party vendor.

The best thing about EXL is that you will be heard. Specially senior management is very supportive and understanding. Company provides with enough opportunities to grow in career and fair chances are given to almost everyone.

Dislikes

Salary brackets can be better as compared to market standards. Appraisals can be improved for better employee retention and satisfaction.

There was nothing to like they hired me for payroll later moved me to insurance process. And the funny thing is there was opening in payroll domain too but they never look out for internal movement.

1. No structure in work - everything is ad-hoc, urgent and important. No planning 2. Too much office Politics - more competition, less collaboration 3. Micromanagement by EXL Managers - some managers make you sit on a call entire day as they want to see you work 4. Toxic work culture - people hide information from others, talk behind etc., 5. Some leaders in certain spaces like Insurance, RMTI lack vision and operate like a Lala 6. No hikes, delayed bonuses, delayed promotions in 2024 7. Managers and some ex-EXL clients leave no chance to humiliate you in a call and use unprofessional tone 8. Poor office facilities and a substandard health insurance. 9. They almost never pay referral bonus to you for hired people saying that the profile already existed in their database 10. They hire people with proven tech and business skills and don’t have any plan to utilise them. 11. A lot of leaders who act like solution experts have no technical skillset in data science or AI and only make life difficult by obstructing and questioning work due to their lack of knowledge....Read More
