The manager was very supportive and the work life balance was good.

Dislikes

The unnecessary pressure to work from office and the unsupportive rude behaviour of the HR. There was nothing given above and beyond the salary not even box of sweets on small occasions. All the team outings and activities were self sponsored.

EY is a great place to work. I feel work life balance is good here but depends on project to project. There are a lot of scope for career growth. Compensation and increment are good compared to other service based company but it depends on an individual and company performance.

I have never seen such a organisation where there is no culture. People is using slang language on the floor and even manager is saying she is not able to manage the team. Working hours is 15 hours in a day that's why pune girl died.

Workplace harassment and workplace discrimination is rampant. Indian managers in US at this company are bullies and bring their countries’s interstate bias to the US. Very pathetic personalities. There cost cut plan. No cabs for day time. Heavy target for agents. No concern on work life balance. Asking to login on weekends without any OT. workstation are too congested. No personal request are addressed from management. No proper training or time to learn the process(except few American projects).

GDS- Full on toxic culture. On very first week your manager expects you to work on weekends without even having some empathy. No relevant data science projects. Colleagues won't even talk to you properly - hostile nature. Stay away if you can. Even if you lose 5 lacks, here that extra money is not worth it.

Gen AI and Data Science - No, even you are paid higher due to Gen AI role. Forget of relevant work. They will put on some random excel analysis, PPT work, automation with Ms Power Tool, model validation etc. Work life balance - Hehe, what is that? Most of the people here are from big 4 who takes pride in working 15 hours and weekends. They lack understanding of tech but are confident to say garbage. It's a well established organisation in the industry. But there is no factor for me to like working at EY

1. Highly unorganised projects, unrealistic deadlines, and all time building work pressures (asking for leaves or even leaving early for personal work seems to be a big ask) 2. The managers on most of the projects are not concerned about providing support to team members leading to direction less output 3. Most of the time is spent on firefighting to understand the scope of work/way to deal with a particular client/to seek on the job support- which is a bare minimum expectation from the managers to provide it to employees, but is never fulfilled! 4.
