Initially when I joined the organisation it was supposedly a employee friendly organization but I have not noticed any policy or benefits which fits the tag of employee friendly. HR is a mute spectator over what's happening in teams, not empowered enough. None of the senior management across processes invest time in grooming of talent. Work culture and thought process is still native. There are managers who are associated with organisation from a long time who are not ready to explore new ideas and make changes. While policies are good but managers specifically old timers in this organization ensure to create their own crap culture thereby deteriorating organizations value as well. Did not enjoy my 4 year long stint here.
1) do not join the Mumbai based loans team its flooded with old timers and runs with terrible favoritism and groupism. Unless you are a very good slave and excellent at sycophany only than you can survive. 2) owing to predominant favoritism you will face bias in every fronts including work allocation, appraisals, promotions etc. 3)No job security . 4) all managers who are old timers have created their own beyond tolerance culture, so ensure you ask during your interview how old is your manager in the organization as HR is pretty useless. 5) very bad appraisals, almost nill. 6) flexibility is provided to managers favorites only.
