Dematic as a brand is of great value but the DEI which is Dematic Engineering India is pathetic.

Dislikes

The company is not good for freshers as they are often misled with false promises regarding salary and given minimal learning opportunities. The work culture is restrictive, with poor management and unfair policies. For experienced employees, there are no onsite opportunities abroad, even for those who have the skills and experience. Growth opportunities are nearly nonexistent, and appraisals are low with and unpredictable variable pay component. Work from home is heavily restricted, only allowed for one day and with the condition of booking 6-8 hours billable. The overseas management seems frustrated with the way indian managers handle operations, leading to further dissatisfaction among employees. With such poor leadership from HR and Director, the company's future looks uncertain. Unless major changes are made, retaining talent will be a serious challenge. Only positive is it's dematic but the Indian branch literally sucks due to poor management and policies

Got Rejected In an Interview, Just Because I Didn’t Answer a Personal Question

So, I got invited for this interview, and they told me to be there at 9 AM. Of course, I get there early, like 8:30, because I don't want to be late. But then I end up waiting for 1.5 hours. Seriously, they didn't even acknowledge me until 10. Then this HR lady calls me in, and she's totally unprofessional. She's like, on her phone, making personal calls while I'm sitting right there. And then she starts asking me these really weird questions, like what my nickname is, and what my dad does for a living. It got really uncomfortable when she started pressing for details about where my dad works. I mean, what does that have to do with anything? So I politely told her I didn't want to answer, and she actually said, "Then we can't continue this interview." I was honestly shocked. But instead of arguing, I just stood up and said, “Alright then.” And walked out. I left feeling pissed. Not only did they waste an hour of my time, but the HR rep was also rude and unprofessional..
