There are shows they are best in the industry but actually that are paid promotion which corporate doing in all countries.

After amalgamation with LVB, the DBS done nothing. No one knows how to work in Indian banking. Always favoured persons getting favour thinks from top to bottom. Not encouraging the worker who doing hard and smart work. Existing workers working with low salary but recruiting new persons with high cost who are Cluster head's caste and relatives. Newbies do not have even banking knowledge.

New technology driven systems and group are always enforced to believed on digital banking.

The top management are horrible, since system pyramid are just negative . Business values into systems are very poor . Everybody managing their top boss with bad culture and intention. During this worldwide pandemic ( Covid-19)they don't understand employee conditions. The overall bank manage all reward to became best but actually that is not correct.

Earlier when DTI was growing it was good place to be.

1- more that 50% of time is wasted in process and very less time for actual development work. 2- Very biased environment towards Singapore employees and very poor credibility of DTI guys. 3- Poor appraisal policies now. 4- No phycological safety

It is highly appreciated work culture. Bank is providing lot of benefits to employees. Many opportunities available individual can develop the knowledge even cross department. Opportunities to move across various departments. All you need to have high positive approach.

Only few people from top management bringing their previous employers style of working which bank to restrict.

Road side coolies are becoming managers after working for 8-10 years as contractor .No knowledge of any programing or tech stack just know how to abuse and fight .

For a fresher this is the best company, but moving onto next few years after will be challenging to cope up with DBS work culture.

Dislikes

Doesn't give enough time for a developer, will be hard to deliver quality products. Also we stick up with same project when we start and will be very difficult to switch between projects as managers doesn't let you go or want to give up you from the project

Line manager is everything, he decides your rating, increment, bonus. HR is just a yes man to whatever reporting manager says. Lot of good policies on paper but at ground level not much. HR is absolutely not reachable
