I think the flexibility that Deloitte offers is amazing and as an employee, I am free to work from wherever I want to, and there is no micro management. The team is very professional and there is not much hierarchy.

Dislikes

The salary paid by Deloitte is not commensurate to the work. Appraisal, especially at Deloitte, India are not up to the mark and overall I believe you are underpaid significantly at Deloitte.

- my initial 1.5 years was great because of my project later my project changed and the working hours extended. long working hours as 12 to 15hrs per day. -Did not got promoted even after my performance was good. -Late night calls

The people at Deloitte. It’s all about them. The culture is great and they pay well. I feel If you are working in a consulting environment, you cannot complain about the work. You just enjoy work and take those disconnects to relax and refill. They are paying well so I don’t have any complaints

I would not say it is about Deloitte but yeah It is about a few people at the leadership level and I feel, people at that level should be honest and reliable because their decisions have a larger impact on employees.

The work eventually becomes mundane. Despite multiple upskilling and certification options available, there is hardly any time or patience remaining after work to pursue those. So, more or less, you're doomed with what you learn on the project.

The culture is really bad. They monitor your food breaks, times you get up from your chair etc. They dont have many clients or a lot of work however they want you to stick to your chair. The seniors are not supportive. This place made my life hell!

No salary hikes at all. TLs says upskill to so that promotion or hikes can be given a thought. From past 2 years only (5 + 7) 12% yearly raised given by company regardless of good and improving performance reviews. It feels like these PR are total fake or like a scam.

Full of politics. No promotion for worthful person. Promotion first preference will be given to person who create a show infront of managers. Example:-Unnecessary perks in terms of yearly well being by asking to buy some products instead if they give that amount in yearly bonus or hike that would more worthy to employees.
