Compensation could be better. But again, it's a trade off you do for the stability and work-life balance you enjoy. So, that's acceptable in my view.

yo would have job security, work culture is great, if you are working with German collogues than your learning curve will be better. Onsite opportunity is quite good (depend on you or your luck ;) ). food is free so that's a positive.

It depends mostly on the team that you work in, in general the work wont be good, your learning curve will be quite flat. But if the project has some German influence than the learning will be better.
