This review is specifically for SAP consultants(functional and technical) and also from internal experience received from many SAP colleagues working in different external customer support projects. BGSW is a purely Indian service based organization, please don't get into trap of Bosch Brand name and their products. BGSW is a service provider to external customers like other service companies. No transparency on any policy even HR don't have clarity on their policies. Very dull and few projects in SAP (mostly SAP ECC AMS support projects and some implementation project with partnership and also most clients are Japanese, Indian and some are Saudi Arabian, which sucks your work life balance) Bosch recruiters are using the brand name of Bosch and deploying on external customer support project (Non Bosch projects) . They do have contracts with customers because of which you cannot take benefit of Bosch employee welfare policies like leaves, flexible work timing, even you have to work for festival holidays and Govt national mandatory holidays, Bosch is remain as just for name. There is no proper onshore and offshore working model in Bosch external customer support projects. Some projects you have to work for 6 days a week, without comp off. They are not paying any shift allowance because of low budget. In General Bosch employee policies are same or lower as compared to other Indian IT service companies. You can see lowest medical insurance in Bosch comparing to other IT service companies. Don't believe on commitments and assurance provided from Group manager during interview, they will tell you about SAP newest product, IoT, S/4 HANA biggest migration program in Bosch etc., but believe me all are fake promises, they are telling this from last 2-3 years. There is no guarantee that they will deploy you into that program because all old employees already occupied the positions also that one is separate entity now. Bosch is mostly hiring for external customer SAP support project, in some roles you have to work as third party resource as well. Bosch deploy you to other IT service company. Technical Consultants be ready to work on multiple projects at a time because of resource crunch. You can easily feels the monopoly/favoritism of south region peoples (90% strength), all old employees are transferred to Bosch internal projects in which good WLB and professional growth as compared to External Customer Support projects. BGSW is divided into two entities/segments internally -one segment is for Bosch internal projects and other is external customer support (Non Bosch). Be careful while choosing BGSW over other IT service companies. Because now a days they are mostly hiring for external customer support projects because of high attrition rate in that segment in BGSW. Also please check SAP peoples reviews before joining, instead of believing on old ratings available in different portals. Many peoples are getting into trap because of the old reviews provided by different department peoples. SAP people be careful. Do not keep hope on Administration, HR and Finance department support, you can not expect any response from them before 15-20 days even you raise official service ticket. Here ignoring emails is very common. They will simply ignore your emails, even you will not get any acknowledgment for your queries. You need to chase them for a single small support. Bosch is a very good company, for technical development and opportunity to explore new technologies. Work Life Balance was there.I liked the Bosch culture throughout the year. The associate was the wealth of the company and policy led by Great Bosch was the foundation on which the company is built .

I could see there is a culture shift compare to earlier in India location. Sometimes growth depends on the team you are working with. Expecting more dedicated and motivating leaders who can uplift the associate.

1. If u are having health issues or ur children having health issues or ur parents, if u think u can stay back home with them and continue ur work to help your team, forget about it. HR will take you to apply for a leave 2. They are such an hypocrite that they will send mail about work-life balance and mental health, but don't understand that pushing the Bengaluru traffic and coming to office waste so much of energy that people get frustrated. Not sure who is taking this critical decision. 3. Soon they will create a innovation less zombie army. They will come stay in office for 6 hours and just poof ..go back home .. after pushing 2 hrs of traffic what do think they will innovate. 4. There is nothing pros of this company. Specially if you are working in Mobility service team. If you are fresher, you will have a good time but if you are a mid level experience guy then it's a next hell for you. Your ideas will be suppressed, you will be humiliated, your efforts will go unnoticed. If project succeeded, then credit will be shared by Program Manager and architects and if Anything fails, it's completely developers failure.
