Nothing much. Only thing to be liked is the counterparts outside India. They are supportive and understand what needs to be done.
A lot of politics and different vendors does not make things easy. The managers rely on micromanagement and increasingly becoming like service company where slogging for 9 hours is encouraged and considered a plus. Quality of work is stressed in the name of innovation which is very rare but there are new names to give for the same things. Virtually everything is framework based and mostly development is plugging into it. Less growth and more politics for bonus, hike and promotion. I would say it is one of the best work life balance culture holding org in the corporate world. But at the same time you would get to work only with the medicore mindset people.

In Barclays, there is no or weak HR, line manager are made without their skills and caliber, Line manager post is more on favouritism rather than those who deserve it. Line manager make their own rules and decisions and no work ethics i have seen.
