Its a PSU Job! So work hours usually don't stretch beyond 6 or 7 in evening (barring Quarter ends) Work exposure in metros is good provided you are willing to learn. Seniors and colleagues are mostly amiable and do not spoil APRs (annual performance reports) . Law officers are mostly posted in zonal offices which are located in major cities/towns ; so no remote postings like PO.

Dislikes

Promotion process for specialist officers is slow . (Have seen seniors take almost 15-20 years to just take 2 scale promotions.). Transfers every 3-4 years maybe a disturbance for some. Deputation opportunities to Central Govt /state Govt have been restricted a lot for specialist officers. No work from home option.
