Flexible timings again it depends on manager.

Dislikes

Dress code Not allowing mobile phones Restricted access to internet Not proper recognition of work Very strict rules makes you feel like you are coming to school Too many trainings Follow up mails on finishing trainings even though deadline is very far Very old technology stack No printer access. Print need approval from manager Notable to send payslips also to personal email id. Have to ask manager to send my payslip to my email id Exit formalities are not flexible. You cannot forward or take print out of exit confirmation mail which you need to join another company. HR has very poor response to provide details about your exit to new company...Read More

Career advise for early years

Hi folks!! Want one advise for my early years in corporate. I am 23 yrs old and I am working in BofA for couple of years now and this is my first job. I have deep interest and skills to excel in core finance role (investment management) but the role at BofA is completely unrelated to it. To prove my metal, I have cleared CFA level 1&2 in my first attempt with top percentile (+MBA) but kind of stuck for right opportunity. Can anyone advise how should I approach to making a shift to my desired work (asset mgt)?
