Bank should work on improving process and enhancing customer satisfaction rather than being solely business oriented. Excess pressure to meet targets affects work life balance, specifically in service sector. Simplifying the workflow and fostering employee friendly culture will empower staff to deliver quality service while monitoring well being.

In these months I don't have anything for that I can give thumbs-up to Bandhan.

Dislikes

-No proper training. -No hand holding for newly joined staff -No time given to establish, from start of the month you joined you are expected to turn the table overnight. -If your interview is not taken by your supervisor you are done.

Bank focus is only on CASA, TD & LI. Beyond that just activation is enough.

Not having market share. You need to sell brand image 1st. Head office is Kolkatta. So culture is not common for all. Supervisors won't understand the ground reality.

Holidays and leaves are sufficient but approval depends solely on the supervisor. Also, resignation is solely dependent on supervisor and hence creates a lot of harrassment during the notice period. And very long notice period of 90 days.

No proper business development plans. Not enough work is allocated to juniors and surprisingly seniors always criticize and demoralize for low productivity. Seniors do not do anything about increasing productivity and blame only juniors for each and everything. No support guidance or knowledge shared by seniors. Salary is very poor except for departmental seniors. HR team is very poor. HR does not know any company policy and will never solve any queries of employees. I work in five years long time in BANDHAN BANK. I see one thing is that there was lot of working politics. Here you can work with them overcome all the working politics then you will work either you are kicked out at a time. Poorest working culture. I have ever seen in my life. I think there is no company in India like that.

Is not a one reason to dislike this company. There is lot of reason number one work politics number to lot of pressure number for Sunday, Saturday working day number three pressured to the employee to instalment pay their own pocket.

I do not find it worth compared to my last companies. I am feeling as if I had taken a wrong decision, by being a part of Bandhan bank. People in the city are not even aware that there is any bank name Bandhan bank, wherein it has a 6 years' vintage. Office environment is not friendly. Seniors are always at a shouting mode, I don't know why. They show that if they will shout, they can show their presence. Induction Training was given online through teams meeting, it was like give someone a chocolate, ask that peron to taste it by not unwrapping it...

Lots of manual intervention, excessive documentation, weak and under-developed IT infrastructure, non-aggressive collection/recovery dept., mailing culture is not clear to most of the employees.

In banking sector, obviously, for a DBA there is lot to learn and implement. At Bandhan they give you the chance not only on Oracle but also other database like MySQL, MSSQL etc.
