Likes

Freedom of work. Not much pressure from principals. Wide range of Audit works including Bank audits. Availability of good audit managers to clear the doubts.

Dislikes

Stipend is low compared to other Audit firms. Not suitable for people who are looking for specialisation in any particular feild.

My work in Balan & Co. was great. I have learned a lot of things. Learned how to handle the clients nicely. How to improve our skills and knowledge.

Work timings: Flexible Timings

Work related travel: This is a desk job.

It was a platform for understanding the corporate environment and enhancing my skills in financial reporting, analysis and management. Even though I worked as articled assistant as per the regulations made by ICAI for completion of my professional course, it was a golden opportunity to shape out my finance skills... Especially reporting activity.
