It was 2 day work from office so I got chance to interract with team members and learn from them and share ideas.

Design team don't have innovative vision they just say yes and commit to any requirements without even having guts to have a discussion and take data backed design decisions basically the design manager is just keeps pleasing VP like a yes man

Hiring firing company. In Sep 2024 they dissolved the entire team asking 2 month old & 2 weeks old & even 2 days old joinees to leave.. Witnessed a scenario where people who joined few months ago, few weeks ago and few days ago were asked to leave with NO compensation. A lady who worked for 10 years as almost a founder member of Avalara India was asked to leave and ID got deactivated over phone in few seconds only.. Manager politics within team. Biasness is most in the team. The new manager(Himanshu Gupta) is biased with boys. Favouritism is more and support his native people from UP. He is the worst manager I worked with. Always targets boys for the additional work. He always scolds to boys and talk to girls very sweetly.
