Everything is customer oriented..so if the customer is dissatisfied it directly affects your job. It doesn't matter even if as an associate you tried your best or if the customer was making impossible demands that cannot be fulfilled as per company policies, it's still a strike against you. Too many strikes and you're outta job. So it's frustrating.

Firstly, employees are being treated like commodities. If any employee die as well by this tremendous pressure which company continuously enforcing on the employees is just not bothered. Their only motto is to forcefully make the employees bound to work continuously in such a skill in which he/she is not compatible to or are not able to perform and meet the metrics. Secondly, no managers or higher leaders are bothered about the well being of an employee. They will just make an employee suffer till the time they are giving resignation. Do not expect any support from any of the leaders or management in here. Leaders will only tell you that they will support you with the work policies but if someone has any genuine personal or health problem then leadership will completely surrender. Thirdly, customer service associates are being treated as dog. They don't get any choices about their skill change or shift change. Workflow team decides for every one and if someone is facing any issue, if they ask for any preferable shift time or skill they are bound to hear a no and that also with immense attitude and rudeness. So if someone decides to join Amazon.in and that also in customer service then it's a hell no. If someone has no problem with multiple health concerns right away then one can join with all pleasure. Fourthly, every leaders will spill the same thing. They will sweetly tell you that Amazon is a diverse organization with growth opportunities but honestly no career growth and no opportunities. If someone thinks that Amazon is a dream company then let me tell you that internal ijp's comes maybe once or twice a year with no extra opportunities. And whenever any employee will become frustrated the managers and leaders will sing the same thing and will try to lure employees with all myths about career opportunities as that is the key to them to make employees work again like dogs. I am working as senior CSA from last 2+ years and till now everything is going smoothly. No complaints what so ever. From salary on time to colleagues and management helpfulness you will find here while working.

Dislikes

As CSA job role is to assist the customer so some time it becomes hard to focus on work due to goal pressure and customer abusiveness, but as mentioned some time and also as this is a part of our job so we have to overcome this. Rest there is no such dislike I have found here till date.

There is one famous quote here in amazon “It’s always a Day 1”, so as a part of Amazon till now I have get all the support I required from my seniors and colleagues to complete my work. Every day we learn some thing new.
