Everything - There is no work-life balance. Salary paid is very less and working load is of 3 times. Daily in huddles managers threaten employees about layoffs without any reason. Managers have targeting nature. They don't train you enough. If you haven't been at office due to health issues. They start thinking that you are not interested in job. The company is going downhill fast. Every single role is becoming contractual ever since that idiot Andy Jassy became the CEO. The management is making poor decision after the other. Job security is a joke and the salary is utter rubbish and garbage. The Interim managers and the tenured folks are tenured by name as they have zero idea regarding process knowledge. Particular about AGI-DS department in Amazon is worst, there are no promotions, less hike percentage, full of risk and privacy restrictions. I suggest do not join this department. Try to get a job in another department in Amazon

Good culture and they pay for overtime during peak season

Dislikes

Too much of politics in the company and specially for internal job transfer, they prefer women to occupy the posts as they follow the so called "DEI" policy. And the post that I am in right now, you have to be your managers favourite to grow or from the same community.

Amazon being one FAANG companies, gives your CV an immense boost. Also, there are enough opportunities to move within the organisation.

5 days work week. Rare opportunities to for WFH or remote work. Constant emphasis on high performance and yield. Very little growth opportunity in terms of remuneration.

I enjoyed work very . Mainly, in this working period of Amazon I got so many experiences. I got so much support from my mangers, pa 's, ps ' s and my team members . Other than that I lije two things they are Transport facility and salary on 1st before and also my agency support

The promotions are biased and not best Some of the hiring managers have no knowledge whom to take to that position and some are biased. First they already fixed the candidates informally and conduct interviews formally. They don't hire the best. *Most of the project managers have no process knowledge and they make SOP changes, which seems silly. *Recognition based on visibility, not based on candidate expertise *All promotions need LPs(Leadership Principles) interviews and those all LP questions are imaginable, not real. *The criteria of IJPs are very high, no matter the candidate has actual eligibility.
