VPN Engineer

As a VPN Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• VPN Design and Implementation:

  • Design, deploy, and manage site-to-site and remote-access VPN solutions for secure connectivity.
  • Configure VPN gateways, firewalls, and authentication mechanisms to ensure secure access.

• Network Security:

  • Monitor and maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of VPN connections.
  • Implement security measures, such as encryption protocols (IPSec, SSL/TLS), to safeguard data in transit.

• Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 technical support for VPN-related incidents and performance issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve VPN connectivity issues, working closely with network and security teams.

• Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of VPN configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop technical guidelines and best practices for end-users and IT teams.

• Performance Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor VPN performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and speed.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate risks.

• Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate VPN solutions with other network and security systems.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless VPN operations.
