Job Summary

As a QA Engineer (Automation) at Web Neural Infotech, you will design and execute automated testing solutions to ensure the quality and performance of software applications. Your responsibilities include developing automated test scripts, maintaining testing frameworks, and collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve defects. You will play a vital role in supporting AI, ML, and Big Data applications by implementing efficient and scalable automated testing strategies.

This role is open to freshers with a strong understanding of automation and experienced professionals eager to work with advanced testing tools and technologies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

Test Automation : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.
Framework Development : Build and optimize test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Cypress.
Continuous Integration : Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Defect Identification : Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues using bug tracking tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.
Performance Testing : Conduct performance and load testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and product teams to ensure test coverage and identify potential areas for automation.
Test Execution : Execute automated test cases across various environments and platforms, including web and mobile applications.
Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation for test scripts, frameworks, and automation processes.
Quality Metrics : Monitor and report on testing metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Automation Tools : Proficiency in tools like Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or Cypress.

Programming Skills : Strong knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for developing test scripts.

CI/CD Integration : Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Bamboo for integrating automated tests.

Performance Testing Tools : Familiarity with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling for load and performance testing.

Version Control : Proficiency in Git or other version control systems for managing test scripts.

API Testing : Experience with API testing tools like Postman or RestAssured.

Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical skills for debugging and resolving issues in test scripts and frameworks.

Basic SQL Knowledge : Ability to validate database operations through SQL queries.

Qualification & Experience Required

Education : Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
Certifications (Preferred) :
- Certifications such as Certified Selenium Professional , ISTQB Test Automation Engineer , or equivalent.
Experience :
- Freshers with hands-on experience in automation projects are encouraged to apply.
- 1-3 years of experience in automation testing or a related role is preferred.
